As our Business Development Manager in Singapore, your main task will be to identify new business opportunities, seek new potential partners and work with our Merchant Acquisition Manager in building strong and ever-lasting relationships with key account holders. Our BDM will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying Singapore’s best pet-care service providers using both online and offline methods.
We want to help all animals tell us how they feel. To reach our vision, we’re using technology to create a full-service pet platform; from a wearable hardware device to track the animal’s vital signs and activity levels, to an online ecosystem and booking portal to organise anything a pet might require.

Our BDM will be out and about pitching, qualifying, and scheduling meetings with merchants and getting them excited and motivated about becoming our partners.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Lead generation and prospecting new pet-care related service providers and veterinary clinics
Create a strategy for outbound sales via cold calling, email, social media, and other relevant channels
Communicating our value proposition to merchants and growing our supply of service providers via Linkedin campaigns, cold-calls and walk-ins
Scheduling meetings with merchants and vet clinics for demos, training & sign-ups with the Merchant Acquisition Manager
Managing client expectations and proactively engaging with clients for updates
Ensuring all weekly and monthly sales targets are hit
Leading and growing the regional sales team to drive commercial growth
Constantly improving the sales strategy and implementing new processes that improve the onboarding experience for our partners
Working closely with our CEO in Singapore and our core team for regular updates and insights and to action any new business requirements that affect our merchants
Liaising with our customer success team, marketing team, and operations team to ensure consistency and communication is upheld
Exploring new commercial opportunities to grow our strategic partners
Identifying, analysing, and presenting new and relevant sales channels to help us scale
Experienced B2B-focussed business development manager with 2+ years experience in a similar sales environment
Confident using lead generation CRM’s such as Hubspot or Pipedrive
Strong pitching skills with a kind-natured human approach to sales
Self-motivated and results-driven sales professional
Methodical and analytical approach to business development
Great conversational skills, approachable and with a good telephone manner
Good command of the English language, both written and verbal. Mandarin a plus
